What type of flooring is best? There truly, honestly is no right or wrong answer to this question. Every home and every home's occupants are going to have their own specific needs for the flooring that they choose. Some people are looking to increase the value of their home or prefer natural materials, while others are looking for flooring that is child (or dog!) resistant. Every type of flooring has a wide array of benefits, just as each has drawbacks. Check out our pages for solid hardwood, engineered hardwood, laminate, LVP, and tile for some benefits and drawbacks for each type of flooring! You can also go to our contact page and send in a contact request for someone to give you a call or send you an email to talk about which flooring option is best for you, your home, your family, and your budget.

Which type of flooring will increase my home's value? For people looking to get the best return on their investment when they sell their home, our recommendation is always either solid or engineered hardwood. While the initial investment will be more, natural wood products always increase a home's value exponentially more than vinyl, laminate, or tile. Just because hardwood is more expensive than synthetic flooring materials, that doesn't necessarily mean natural wood is out of your budget! We have some wonderful options at our showroom for engineered or solid hardwood flooring that may be less than you think!

What flooring do you currently have in stock?Sawtooth Floors & Interiors doesn't actually keep any flooring in stock! We choose to buy wholesale directly from our suppliers, and not pay for expensive warehouse space to stock it. Our showroom consists of a variety of high-end flooring sample displays, a tiny bathroom, a warehouse barely big enough to house our single forklift, and one Showroom Consultant who would win Employee of the Month every month even if there were other employees. What this means for you is, we have very little overhead and all the money we save gets passed on to you! We pride ourselves on our low pricing and exceptional customer service. That being said, we do sometimes have small amounts of overstock flooring that we sell for $1.00 / square foot. These small amounts are often the perfect amount of flooring for small bathrooms, laundry rooms, accent walls, closets...you name it! Check our Overstock tab to see what we have on our shelves, or swing by our store in Meridian!
